Latina Black NY Blogtress

Liza Sabater, which some mistakenly call her “saboteur”, brings a mixture of culture, politics and technology to the social webosphere.

She is the founder of the many of the blog networks including the Feminist Bloggers Network, the Digital Ethnorati Project, Progressive Immigration Caucus and the Progressive Bloggers Business Network. She was born in New York City. She grew up in Puerto Rico; where she lived until the age of 20. She holds a BA in Latin American Studies & International Politics and an ABD in Spanish & Portuguese, both from NYU. She joined the corporate world as a marketing communications consultant and technical writer.

If you follow her on twitter you find yourself bursting from laughter with her humor but you will know when she is giving you the straight talk on issues she cares about. Liza has been on the scene for quite some time. As one of the first bloggers, she has been categorized as a mom, politico, chicana, feminist, Puerto Rican, or black blogger. She is a self-taught geekette and has been around to work with many of the technological devices and gadgets that have come and gone over the last 15 years.

On any top web list you should find Liza if not the list will need to be check for errors. Here is Liza’s take on the being listed among the Top Ten in New York, “The web’s Top 50 most influential people in New York”.
