Social Media WOC blog is designed to highlight the accolades of Women of Color in the social web. Many lists exist talking about the top bloggers, twitters, social media experts and others. Generally there are many top women missing from those lists but when a woman is included it is rarely a woman of color. More women need to be recoginized for there authority. The common explanation is usually the list makers don’t know many women or women of color. This site is designed to make sure that excuse can no longer be used and highlight some of the top women across the field.
